Welcome to the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA). ISTA is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the art and science of joint replacement around the world. It hosts an annual international congress where individuals from industry, academia and clinical practice come together to collaborate and exchange ideas each year. In 2025, we are meeting in Rome, Italy.
The 36th Congress will be held on 18-21 September 2025, at the Hotel Cavalieri. The theme of this meeting is, ‘How to solve real problems through Technology’.
- Over 36years, ISTA has become the premier forum for the exchange of ideas and innovations in joint replacement technologies by surgeons, engineers, marketing,and business experts. In Rome, we are expecting to host over 1000 delegates from some 28 countries.
- The ISTA Annual Congress provides an opportunity for surgeons, engineers and industry to engage in robust debate, which is essential for the future of arthroplasty.
